FRANCIS ALTIERI

PRESIDENT
Frank is a second-generation public adjuster and has been licensed since 2008. He holds other pubic adjuster licenses throughout the country. Frank is the Executive Vice President of Altieri Insurance Consultants, a prominent 35-year public adjusting firm headquartered in Tampa, FL. He has worked in multiple capacities within the corporate structure of the firm earning his way to partner. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of South Florida, with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Studies along with a minor in General Business Administration. Frank is always eager and vigilant to learn the latest and greatest ways to be better adjuster and future leader of the public adjusting industry. Frank is married with two daughters. He enjoys traveling, golf, and being on a boat with his family and friends.

JOHN P WALIGORA SR.

John became a Public Adjuster in 2011 and has been a member of FAPIA ever since then. He is a 2003 graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. John is also licensed in Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Mississippi, Louisiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Puerto Rico. He has worked for Keys Claims Consultants, LLC since 2009 and is currently it’s Chief Operating Officer. John is ready to work diligently in assisting to grow FAPIA’s membership and help promote the highest levels of professional standards and services in the Public Adjuster industry.

WENDI GABRIEL

VICE PRESIDENT
Wendi Marie Gabriel has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 2016, with her professional journey in the claims industry beginning in 2012. Her early experience working within a public adjusting firm provided her with a strong operational foundation and in-depth knowledge of the complex documentation and procedures involved in insurance claims. With more than 12 years of hands-on experience in the claims process, Wendi brings both technical expertise and policyholder-focused advocacy to her work.
Wendi is the Founder and President of Claim Pro Services LLC, where she is dedicated to protecting homeowners and ensuring their rights are upheld when navigating the insurance claims process. She became a member of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) in 2018 and immediately joined the Membership Committee, reflecting her commitment to active involvement and service to the association beyond general membership. In addition to her professional leadership, Wendi is actively engaged in her community as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Pompano Beach and the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce. Her passion for advocacy, integrity, and community service continues to drive her contributions to both FAPIA and the policyholders she serves across Florida. |

JOSHUA M. CONNOR

TREASURER
The founder of Rockwall National Public Adjusters, Mr. Connor has over 20 years of adjusting experience. A graduate of Baylor University, majoring in Entrepreneurship, he has handled residential, commercial, liability, flood, maritime and catastrophe claims. Mr. Connor began his career working for several insurance carriers over 10 years and has solely advocated for home and business owners for the last decade. He has also been named as an expert witness in both Florida Federal and Circuit courts. He enjoys spending time with his family, church and charitable endeavors.

DAN LABOW, SPPA

Dan began his career in insurance adjusting in 2014 as a licensed apprentice and has since become an accomplished Executive Public Adjuster with Coastal Claims Services, based in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Drawing on a strong background in analytical thinking and advocacy, Dan combines technical expertise with a client-focused approach to help policyholders navigate the complexities of insurance claims and achieve fair settlements. Dan is currently licensed in several states.
A graduate of Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in history (1989) and a juris doctorate from Loyola University (1992), Dan brings a deep understanding of both contractual interpretation and policyholder rights to every claim he handles. He is passionate about advancing the public adjusting profession and continually invests time in learning new technologies and methods to improve efficiency and outcomes for his clients. Dan is married with two adult daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, hiking, watching documentaries, and spending time with his family and his dogs. |

EYAL BEN-MAIER

DIRECTOR
Director Ben-Maier has been a public insurance adjuster for nearly a decade. He is originally from Israel and grew up in New York having moved to Florida in his teens. He comes from a family business of custom cabinet makers who designed, manufactured and installed cabinets for nearly 25 years. In 2008 after being a small business owner for so long, he was faced with a choice of whether to continue with the family cabinet business or sell it. He was offered an opportunity to apprentice with FAPIA Past President, Craig Drillich and fell in love with making a living out of helping people in their time of need. He has served on the FAPIA Membership Committee for several years and was interviewed to serve on the Board in 2021. During the FAPIA Annual Business Meeting in October of 2021, his peers elected him to serve on the Board of Directors. Eyal Ben-Maier enjoys skiing, boating and scuba diving in his spare time.

RICK TUTWILER

Rick Tutwiler is a long time member of FAPIA who has served on the Policyholder Ambassador committee. His interest in public adjusting began at an early age. He is a second generation public insurance adjuster and the son of one of FAPIA's founders. Tutwiler has served as the President of the Windstorm Network. He is licensed in multiple states and is a past Board member of the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.

LAUREN BELLONI

DIRECTOR
Lauren is a second-generation public adjuster with over a decade of experience. She runs her family business and is an experienced negotiator. Lauren is an active volunteer with FAPIA, currently serving as co-chair of the Education Committee and as a school official for the organization. She holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees and a Master’s degree from the University of North Florida. Lauren has also taught as an adjunct professor and is experienced in developing educational curriculums. In addition, she has worked on fundraising campaigns for various charitable organizations.

RICHARD SAMFORD HUNTER III

Richard was born in Raleigh, NC, where he grew up and attended high school, before graduating from Appalachian State University. Eventually, Richard made his way down to the great sunshine state and now resides in Tampa, FL. Richard launched Hunter Claims Public Adjusters to offer his experience with and knowledge of adjusting first-party property & casualty insurance claims, advocating solely on the behalf of policy holders. Richard prides himself in his ability to perform damage assessment, project estimating and application of industry standards in the state of Florida.

JOSE LUIS CORDO

Jose Luis Cordo is the Founder and CEO of Cordo Claims Group. He is a licensed and bonded Public Adjuster, Certified Appraiser and Umpire with over 20 years of experience.
As an Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) in multiple states, Jose has helped thousands of policyholders throughout the claim process. His steadfast dedication to the public adjusting field has helped thousands of homeowners and businesses recover millions in money owed to them for claims filed. He leads his Public Adjusting team at Cordo Claims Group to help homeowners, condominium associations, property management companies, businesses, non-profits, religious institutions, marine vessels, boat and yacht owners on a variety of retail and large loss claims. |

NANCY DOMINGUEZ

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Nancy Dominguez served on the FAPIA Board of Directors from 2007 to 2011, when she became President Elect of the Association. She was asked by the Board and accepted the position of Managing Director when it became available and since then has dedicated herself to improving the programs and offerings that FAPIA offers its members. A public adjuster since 1999, Ms. Dominguez maintains her license although she is not currently practicing. She is responsible for creating and working with FAPIA leadership on many of the important initiatives the association has undertaken.

ROBERT PEREZ-RUIBAL

DIGITAL MEDIA DIRECTOR
Robert joined the FAPIA team in early 2013 after a career in Information Technology, Digital Film Making and Video Production. Soon after, FAPIA began developing more AV rich content at our educational conferences which increased the entertainment value for our attendees. He currently operates the FAPIA.NET website and is responsible for all production of original graphics and video content for FAPIA. Additionally, when the association made the important decision to take on the continuing education program, in house, in early 2014, Robert was officially promoted to Digital Media Director in recognition of his invaluable contribution to the success of the association.
