The Public Adjusting Industry Responds to the Catastrophic Losses in the BahamasHurricane Dorian caused a human tragedy of epic proportions in the Bahamas. People have lost literally everything they own and are trying to survive without basic necessities.
Public Adjusters in Florida have been calling FAPIA asking how they can help. Our Community Affairs Committee has sprung into action and have created an opportunity for our industry to respond. While there are many ways to help and wonderful organizations that will be collecting supplies and donations, the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters is answering the call of Miami Dade County Mayor Gimenez and partnering with them in this important effort. The committee will be taking your donations and shopping for specific supplies that are being requested by the Bahamian government. Each donor will receive an invitation to join us at the drop off point when we deliver your donations!
