Edwin Leal has been an active member of FAPIA for the last 9 years. He was previously involved in the insurance industry as a staff and Independent Adjuster since 1994. Leal is a member of the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the Pasco Hernando Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is the head baseball coach at his local high school. He has volunteered as a member of the public relations committee and is now active with the community affairs and membership committees..
Karen has been a public adjuster since 2006 and has over 30 years of legal experience. She has been a member of FAPIA since 2007 and has enjoyed it every step of the way. She is currently a co-chair on the Community Affairs Committee and also serves on the Unlicensed Practice of Public Adjusting Committee. Karen believes in helping policyholders and protecting their rights and works diligently for her clients. She has her appraisal and umpire certifications and is also a Notary Public. Karen believes in giving back and helping those in need and enjoys the charitable work she does with the Community Affairs Committee.

Gary Rowland has been a public adjuster since 2006 after a long and successful career in building, remodeling and restoration in Georgia. He is also certified as an appraiser and umpire. Gary became FEMA certified in Louisiana in April 2009. He has successfully completed certification courses on mold, roofing, building, building design and ecology in building. Rowland was published in the Journal of Light Construction on Construction Techniques and in Woman’s World.
He is currently licensed as a public adjuster in 11 states.
Don Phillips brings over 40 years of experience to FAPIA. He has served policyholders as a licensed public adjuster for 16 years and before that, worked as a staff claims manager and then an owner of a regional adjusting company. He is a past president of the Florida Association of Independent Adjusters and a guest lecturer for the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention. Don Phillips graduated from the University of Florida and successfully completed the Vale Technical Institute Building Estimatics Course. He is court approved as an expert witness.
Craig Drillich Has been an Insurance Adjuster since 1989 and a Public Adjuster since 2002 during which he took time to attend New York Law School in New York City . He has a B.S with a major in finance and business and landed on the Dean’s list. He has worked as an insurance professional for the insurance industry with giants like Hartford Insurance Company and Traveler’s Insurance before choosing to use his expertise to help policyholders . Mr. Drillich currently serves as the chairperson of the Unlicensed Practice of Public Adjusting Committee, Membership Committee and Public Relations Committee for FAPIA.
Jimmy Farach has been in the insurance business since 1995 and he has been a licensed contractor since 1993. He has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the Florida International University. He is licensed in six states and has also served as an appraiser and umpire. He’s a member of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and has served as a volunteer in community groups like Kick for Kids and he and his wife do volunteer fundraising work for St. Jude Hospital.

Mr. Connelly began his career at a young age within his own family’s diverse residential and commercial real estate ventures in New England. Joe graduated from Suffolk University with a BS, BA in Business Management. He has completed technology and building code programs at Boston University and George Washington University. His roles to assess, document and present physical plant analysis to Administration Boards has lent itself seamlessly to insurance adjusting. Joe has been practicing as a public insurance adjuster since 2004. A FAPIA member since 2006. He has adjusted claims in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Connecticut, Maine, and New Hampshire. Mike began his career with Allstate as a multiline adjuster in Houston in 1982. He also worked with Lindsey Newsom as a property adjuster and earned the General Adjuster designation in 1994. Mike founded Continental Public Adjusters in 1996 and has since settled thousands of residential and commercial claims in multiple states. Mike was twice elected as President of the Republican Business Network and has been actively involved in local politics for several years. Recently, Governor Rick Scott recognized Mike’s hard work and leadership by appointing him to serve as a trustee for Broward College.

Dr. Michael Capilli has been a public insurance adjuster since 1998 and is currently licensed in 13 states and the District of Columbia. Robert joined the FAPIA team in early 2013 after a career in Information Technology, Digital Film Making and Video Production. Soon after, FAPIA began developing more AV rich content at our educational conferences which increased the entertainment value for our attendees. He currently operates the FAPIA.NET website and is responsible for all production of original graphics and video content for FAPIA. Additionally, when the association made the important decision to take on the continuing education program, in house, in early 2014, Robert was officially promoted to IT and AV Director in recognition of his invaluable contribution to the success of the association.

Mr. Mormeneo has served as President of the Kiwanis Club of Miami and served on that organization for over ten years. He has chaired the Grievance Committee for the Miami Realtors Association and has served as an insurance instructor at Miami Dade Community College. He is a long time member of BNI International and has also held a Community Association Manager and Realtors license. Mormeneo previously worked for insurance companies as an adjuster before using his expertise for the benefit of policyholders. He has been a member of FAPIA for many years.

Robert Rosado became a Public Adjuster in Spring of 2009 after being trained under the supervision of Paul Handerhan. Prior to his public adjuster training Rosado had a long, successful career rehabilitating homes. The knowledge of construction and home remodeling that he gained during that time is put to use today in his successful public insurance adjusting career. Rosado has been a member of the FAPIA Ethics Committee for nearly four years. This has made him very familiar with the Florida Insurance Code, and statutory regulations regarding the industry. Rosado handles both residential and commercial losses in Florida, North Carolina and New Jersey.
Nancy Dominguez served on the FAPIA Board of Directors from 2007 to March of 2012, when she was President-Elect of the association. Nancy was asked and accepted the job of Managing Director of FAPIA when the position became available. Since then, she has dedicated herself to improving programs and upgrades to the services FAPIA provides to its membership.
A Public Adjuster since 1999, Ms. Dominguez successfully completed the Xactimate ILX Construction Training courses and is NFIP Flood Claim Trained. She is also a certified umpire in the Windstorm Network as well as a certified Appraiser Umpire in IAUA
